The Effect Of Emotional Intelligence, Training Discipline, Knowledge Management And Work Motivation On Trainer Performance (a*a) Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Padang Abstract This study aimed at determining the causal relationship between coach performance (Y) as an endogenous variable, Work Motivation ((X4) as an intervening variable and Emotional Intelligence (X1), Training Discipline (X2), Knowledge Management (X3) as exogenous variables. The method used was survey method with path analysis techniques.The population in this study was 119 trainers registered on KONI West Sumatra Province. The samples were 85 trainers who participated in PON XIX in West Java. The data was collected through questionnaire which used Likert scale and was then analyzed through Path analysis. It was found that: 1) There is direct influence between emotional intelligence on the performance of the trainer, 2) There is direct influence between disciplines on the performance of the trainer, 3) There is a direct influence between knowledge management on the performance of the trainer, 4) There is an influence of the direct influence between work motivation on the performance of the trainer, 5) There is a direct influence between emotional intelligence of the trainer on work motivation, 6) There is direct influence between discipline training on work motivation, 7) There is a direct influence between coach knowledge management on work motivation.
