In the rainy season, due to the large amount of standing water, the mosquito Aedes easily breeds to lay its eggs. The amount will continue to increase in the transition season because it is supported by sunlight causing the air and puddles to become warm. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative research design. Participants were determined by purposive sampling technique, totaling 7 participants. Analysis of data using qualitative content analysis with the Collaizi approach. An interesting finding in this study is that the experience of nausea felt when experiencing dengue is sudden, but the experience that was felt most disturbing was pain. Handling is done to overcome nausea by drinking warm water. Feelings of weakness during dengue forced respondents to keep eating intensely with a small proportion in order to keep having energy. Respondents stated that clearer action was needed in preventing DHF by health workers or cadres not only asking residents to maintain cleanliness with 3M. The experience of nausea and vomiting is not the most important thing felt by respondents as uncomfortable, but it is disturbing for patients to get nutrition.
