Literature Review: Psychological impact of Covid-19 for nurses

Abstract

Introduction: Pandemic Covid-19 has had an impact on all areas of life in the world. One of them is the health sector, because there are health workers, especially nurses who are considered as the front guard in the fight against Covid-19. As someone who is very in risk to contracting Covid-19, of course the psychological condition of nurses underwent various changes

Methods: The search for journal articles was conducted electronically using several databases, namely Science Direct, Google Scholar and Pubmed. Keyboards used are pshycological impact, mental health, nurses, Covid-19. From this search, 6 articles will be reviewed.

Results: There were psychological changes in nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic including increased work stress, anxiety, fear and depression

Conclusion: As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, nurses psychological condition underwent various changes including increased work stress, fear, anxiety and depression.
