Abstract
Adversity Quotient is a quotient that can affect fighting spirit in solving problems. One thing that related to Adversity Quotient is the ability to think creatively because Adversity Quotient can encourage someone to face problems and solve them creatively. The ability to think creatively is the ability to carry out thought processes that can produce something new and innovative. The process of creative thinking can be observed well in the study of science, especially biology. This study aimed to determine the relationship between Adversity Quotient with high school creative thinking skills in biology learning. This research used quantitative method with correlational studies. This research was conducted at Labschool High School Jakarta in class XI students. Sampling in this study used multistage random sampling and obtained as many as 84 samples. Data collection was carried out by providing instrumens in the form of essay test to measure creative thinking abilities of high school students in biology learning and adversity scale instrumens to measure Adversity Quotient. The research hypothesis was tested by Pearson Product Moment in alpha: 0.05. The result showed that there is a relationship between Adversity Quotient and the creative thinking ability of high school students in biology learning with 88.2% contribution value.
