Abstract

Early detection of childbirth complications is a kind of implementation of the role and function of midwives as executors with the aim of implementing safe and responsible midwifery practices in various health service settings so that it is expected to reduce maternal mortality rate (MMR). In the era of industry 4.0 midwives are not only required to provide quality and safe services, but midwives are also required to adapt quickly to the changes that have occurred in the era of industry 4.0. Thus, it is important for midwives to master and improve their skills in the digitalization era, including digitizing midwifery documentation. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of digital partograph on the motivation to fill out midwifery documentation in Industry 4.0. This was a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all midwives in the work area of Wanasari Community Health Center, Brebes with a total sample of 42 midwives, who were taken with total sampling technique. The statistical test used here was Chi Square. The results of the study obtained a p-value of 0.000 < a (0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that there was a significant effect on the use of digital partograph on the motivation to fill out midwifery documentation in Industry 4.0. It is expected that Digital Partograph can be used as an alternative to digitizing midwifery documentation in Industry 4.0 so that it can facilitate and streamline the work of midwives in providing health services.
